Christmas Day

December 25, 2009

Blogging on Christmas Day is about as pallatable an idea as completing an expenses claim (something I still haven’t done and must get completed before the end of the financial year) which is why I’m writing this on Christmas Eve instead.

If it’s good enough for the BBC to pre-record most of it’s output for Christmas Day then I see no reason not to write a blog a day in advance and have WordPress’ servers which by definition won’t feel the need to mark the holiday season publish the page at the required time instead.

Surely, no-one actually blogs on Christmas Day. Even fewer actually read blogs on Christmas Day. Or do they?

With all of this in mind, I need to be absolutely clear:

If you’ve come looking for something to read (more something interesting to read) you’ll be sorely disappointed. So, move away from the computer. Find a glass, find something alcoholic to put in it, switch on the tv or the radio and start some heavy duty relaxing. The last thing you want to be doing is reading a blog on Christmas Day.

Really. Move along now. There’s nothing to see here.
